Leverage superpowers. Identify blind spots. Embrace wholeness.
Your most important relationships – both personal and professional – are strengthened when you develop an objective understanding of yourself, learn how to adapt and grow, and discover ways to value the unique contributions of those who are wired differently.
Most people struggle to value differences.
Ever wonder why Bob often gets lost in his big ideas?
Why Tiffany always asks for the meeting agenda in advance?
Why you sometimes feel misunderstood?
Hi, I’m Katie!
I have worked with individuals and teams to promote self-understanding, enhance team dynamics, and create intentional growth plans through the lens of personality theory.
As a certified Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI®) practitioner with additional training in biblical counseling and over 15 years of experience in the nonprofit sector, I am passionate about helping you better understand yourself and those around you.
I invite you to know and be known.
The Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI®) assessment is one important framework of personality focused on our “nature” – the defaults and preferences we were born approaching the world. Used by more than 88 percent of Fortune 500 companies in 115 countries, and available in 29 languages, it has become the go-to framework for people development globally.
Based on the work of Swiss psychiatrist Carl Jung on personality theory, Katharine Briggs and Isabel Myers researched and eventually developed the first Myers-Briggs instrument in 1943. The current version of the assessment was updated again in 1998. Using item response theory, this version showed one-month test-retest reliabilities of .94 to .97.
The MBTI personality assessment is designed to be descriptive, not predictive.
Including this personality tool on your tool-belt will help you save time, create shared language, value diversity and collaboration, play to individual strengths, and increase effectiveness. Thrive as a person, grow as a team.
